Meet Firgs (aka: Elizabeth Gast). I’ve invited her to join me in our first evet PSW live-blogging experience. Take it away Firgs!

Hi everyone! I’m so excited that Nancy asked me to help out for this. I’ve been looking forward to PSW ‘09 for a long time and it’s so good to be back in Boston again! On Wednesday, Nancy and I are going to work together to give you the play by play of the highlights of the keynote address and maybe even throw in some fun ways for all of you to join in. However, this is a new trick to be tried by all, so please be patient with any bumps we may find along the way. Again, for those that don’t know me, my name is Firgs and I hope you enjoy this first ever PSW Live Blog!

Firggy, also known as Firgs, has been an independent designer for over ten years specializing in Photoshop art and she has been a NAPP member since 2005. Her favorite areas of design include photo-manipulation, company branding, and creating graphics for web use. Currently, she is working as a freelance graphic artist in Chicago, IL. When she isn’t “pushing pixels,” she attends to her second love, teaching Photoshop and design through her site: designbyfirgs.com. Working with her fellow designers to help them grow has become a grand passion for her and she has a nice little, but rapidly increasing, fan base because of it. She loves people and loves to talk, which is why you can often find her chatting it up on Twitter or in the NAPP Forums (datchicfirgs).
